Ziele

This masterclass equips you to integrate AI systematically into patent portfolio management and your organization’s innovation and IP strategy. You will learn how to match AI tool capabilities to concrete IP workflows. Building on this, you will evaluate existing patents and trends to understand patterns of challenges, apply AI-assisted TRIZ methods to surface contradictions and generate solution concepts, and perform quick novelty checks through AI-guided query design and rapid database screening. The day ends in a practical mini-hackathon to consolidate methods on realistic use cases, enabling you to leave with a repeatable playbook for AI-enabled invention development and portfolio decision-making.

Do you work in a corporate IP or R&D department, deal with invention management and seek to integrate AI into your workflow?

Then this is the right course for you. Basic knowledge of how generative AI works and patent search is assumed. Programming knowledge is not required. Initial experience with prompting is helpful.

Commercial IP GenAI tools will not be presented.
